Faster N86 after latest Firmware Update

Ok now ATTENTION Nokia N86 Users !!! theres a new firmware update available for your device. The latest firmware update is version 20.115 and the improvements are as shown below.

Camera improvements:
  • Improved still image quality
  • Improved video quality
  • Face detection added
  • Red-eye removal added (Nokia note: "this is image processing which removes the red-eye. You need to be in red-eye reduction flash mode for it to be operational. Other flash modes it is disabled as there is a small shot to shot impact due to the extra image processing.")
  • New focus point indication - this shows where in the scene the camera is focussing
  • Improved Close-up focus. (Nokia note: "As a result you will find in most situations you can focus much closer than before. The new focus point indication will also help in confirming which part of your subject is used for critical focus checking")

Significant bug fixes to:
  • Web
  • Music store client
  • RealPlayer
  • Ovi Maps (including faster calibration of the digital compass)
  • Here and Now
  • N-Gage client
  • Nokia Messaging

There's also now:
  • Automatic VoIP re-registration.
  • Ovi Chat shortcut on the homescreen
  • A new Ovi services splash screen
  • An Ovi Store client (though it's buggy, selections from the Options menu are problematic.... - best use the mobile Ovi Store site in the meantime?)
  • An initial option to check for software updates when a customer first boots up the phone

Now theres been more free space on the phone after using this update. Both in the phone memory and RAM memory which means faster N86. After all the features and reading i feel its a must-have update.

Nokia 5630 XpressMusic - Specs and Details

The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic is a slim and light music phone Nokia that also runs full Symbian S60 3rd Edition, which also makes it a pretty potent smartphone. The front side has the 2.2" TFT LCD.The 5630 had a mono loudspeaker at the back, which although fairly powerful, would get a bit muffled when placed on a surface. The audio quality through the headphones gave no problems however, and was pretty good. The phone has a claimed music playback time of 25 hours. The phone will also have Nokia's Comes With Music servicce. The phone has a 3.2 Megapixel camera with fixed focus.Overall for the estimated price of Rs. 13,000, the 5630 XpressMusic is a pretty neat music phone and smartphone, especially for those who dislike thick, bulky handsets and still demand full functionality.

Nokia 5230 - Specs and Details

On the inside the 5230 runs the same Symbian S60 5th Edition, however, a notable addition is the presence of flip scrolling. The UI also supports kinetic scrolling now. So now you can press and slide on the screen and the lists will continue to scroll down, eventually slowing down and coming to a halt. In the previous version of S60 5th Edition, found in the 5800 and the N97, you had to use the scroll bar on the right if you had to scroll down a list. This, however, only works in screens that have lists in them and does not work in, say, the main menu with the icons. The UI felt very responsive and the touchscreen too, despite being resistive, had a good response and feel to it.

Nokia claims the phone is capable of playing music for 33 hours, which is superb. It'll also come with Nokia's Comes With Music service and will have a voucher that will let users download up to 100 free songs from the site.It has a 3.2 Megapixel autofocus camera with a fixed focus. Not much impressive in picture quality.

The best part about the phone is its price. Nokia announced an estimated price tag of Rs. 10,000 in India, which makes the phone superb value and will ensure that it flies off the shelf when it launches.Overall a very good phone with great audio quality and music features as well as smartphone features at a very competitive price.
