2011 Chrysler 300 - Review, Specifications, Images

The new 300 features sharper looking eyes with LED daytime running lights. There's also a brand new grille with sleeker horizontal blades, front fenders which rise almost as high as the sculpted bonnet, a rear-lip spoiler, redesigned LED taillights and two oval exhaust tips.

The car's windscreen has been raked back by 3in which gives it a more aerodynamic look. There's a new dual pane panoramic roof which allows plenty of light into the sophisticated interior, and optional 20in polished aluminium alloys. Overall, the exterior now exudes far more attitude than ever before.

At the heart of it is the all-new Chrysler Pentastar V6 engine. The 3.6-litre six will replace the current V6, improving both fuel economy and more importantly, performance. The new engine has about 290 horsepower and almost gets 30mpg on the highway.

An eight-speed automatic is in the works but the 2011 300 will have to start life with a five-speed unit. But the big news is that a 360 horsepower 5.7-litre HEMI V8 can be had for those who want more power. With 528Nm of torque, it helps the 300 hit 0-100kph in 5.4 seconds. And hang on, because an even more powerful 6.4-litre V8 will eventually join the lineup.

The existence of LED lights with V6 engine and attractive horsepower is not bad for this Chrysler. Soon, I've to contact the nearby dealer about buying a Chrysler.
