The Leaked Sources mention about 3 different configurations of the same platform going to be introduced in the CES 2011.
The prime upgrade in this revision would be the inclusion of the Sandy Bridge chipset and the latest in-line and yet unreleased Intel Core Sandy Bridge processors, as has been the norm with most other laptops to be unveiled in the upcoming CES event.
1st Config

Powered by the Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.0GHz quad-core processor and Intel GMA HD graphics.
2nd Config
----------
Powered by the Intel Core i7-2720QM clocked at 2.20GHz with AMD Radeon HD 6900M dedicated graphics.
3rd Config
----------
Powered by the 2.3GHz Intel Core i7-2820QM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M dedicated graphics.
Lets wait and see these machines on performance. Alienware pcs have always taken it to the extremes. They do mark a new boundary of configurations untill there next release.
