Here Philips comes again with another ambient lighting TV. This time its the 'Cinema' LCD HDTV which is 52-inch wide screen and is capable of playing videos at an aspect ratio of 21:9. This is the exact aspect ratio used to shoot most movies. The Picture resolution is also different and is at 2560x1080 pixels.
With this advanced technology there wouldn't be any black bars or picture cropping. The screen could provide the full cinema experience. The technology also allows other formats in other aspect ratios to be formatted to fit the screen without distortions.
