ASUS comes up with G60J, G51J and M60J multimedia notebooks. These notebooks got Intel Core i7 processors in them. Those laps which got Intel Core i7-802QM speed bursts can boost from 1.73GHz to 3.06Ghz on turbo mode and in i7-720QM, from 1.6Ghz to 2.8Ghz.
The 16in G60J has a LED HD-backlit display with resolutions of up to 1366 x 768 and 2.5in 250/320/500GB SATA at 5000rpm. The 15.6in G51J notebook hosts a LED FHD-backlit display with a 1920 x 768 resolution level and a 2.5in 320/500GB SATA at 7200rpm. Both versions have a memory interface of 2 x DDR3 SODIMM 1066MHz that can be expanded to 4GB SDRAM. They operate with Windows 7 Ultimate/Home Premium and are imbedded with Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M graphics cards of 1GB DDR3 VRAM. The hard drives provide dual HDD support. Additional features comprise of AltecLansing speakers and EAX Advanced HD 4.0. The chassis' dimensions are measured at 375 x 265 x 34.3~40.6mm. Each notebook weighs 3.3kg and runs on 6-cell batteries.
The M60 notebook has a 16in LED HD 1366 x 768 resolution glossy color-shine screen. It runs Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate/Business/Premium or Basic operating system. Memory interface boasts of 2 x DDR3 SODIMM 1066/1333MHz with potential expansion of up to 4GB SDRAM. The visuals are powered by Nvidia GeForce GTX 240M cards with 1GB DDR3 VRAM. The hard drive consists of a 2.5in 250/320/500GB SATA which works at the rate of 5400/7200 rpm and provides additional HDD support of up to 1TB. Audio effects are boosted by its Altec Lansing speakers. The control panel on the AI TouchMedia makes for easy manipulation of playlists, videos, pictures and more. The red-dotted exterior has a glossy scratch-proof surface. Its dimensions are 375 X 265 x 34.3~40.6mm. The M60J weighs 3.3kg and has a 6-cell battery.
