Apple's Mac Pro with 3.33Ghz Quad Core




Apple has now revamped their Pro machine the Mac Pro with a higher end faster processor. The Mac Pro had a base config of 2.66 Ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processor.

The later updation of the Mac Pro processor was in March with a 2.96 Ghz Processor and now the latest upgrade makes it a 3.33Ghz quad-core Intel Xeon Processor. This upgrade will add a $1200 to the base configuration available now for $2499.

Other config options provided by apple for its Mac Pro are:
  • Ram up to 16GB
  • capable of housing and managing up to four 2Terabyte Hard Disks
  • Graphic Cards

The latest addition to their list of compatible graphics cards were Nvidia GeForce GT 120 and the ATI Radeon HD 4870.

The Mac Pro is a real power house recommended and preffered by IT, graphics and audio pros for its efficiency and power. Anyway Apple has got its choices right and this will take its high-end PC to a whole new level of high-end.
