Buffalo has come up yet again with another interesting accessory, this time its with the Blu-ray section. The BR-X1216U3 is a 12x Blu-ray Burner with USB 3.0 support.
The device boasts 12x speed for writing on single or dual Blu-ray Discs and also has a feature called "Save Upscaling" which can convert Standard Definition content to be viewed in HD style and experience.
Buffalo came up with this device so quickly that it is a bit overpriced and the Blu-ray fever is still catching up. The Blu-ray burner has got its compatibility for Windows 7 (both 32 bit and 64 bit) as well. It also is backward compatible to USB 2.0 connections.
The Buffalo 12x blu-ray burner BR-X1216U3 is priced @ Rs. 21,600 (approx) or $449.
