PSP Firmware 6.10 (update) - Bluetooth tethering

PlayStation Portable firmware 6.10 will bring Sony's SensMe technology, Media Go update and Bluetooth tethering. These new features come for PSP family but Bluetooth tethering is available only for the PSPgo model. The PSP firmware 6.10 update is now available and can be downloaded via Network Update on PSP model. This update is essential for PSPgo owners for full compatibility with MediaGo software and all PSP titles.

Sony's SensMe is a proprietary technology that detects music mood and tempo. SensMe in PSP's XMB will use the 12 Tone Analysis technology to evaluate Media Go program imported tracks. This feature will automatically categorize the songs into 12 different channels such as Relax, Newly Added, Mellow, Upbeat, Emotional and so on.

PSPgo owners could use their cellphone as modem for accessing Internet on PSPgo. Using Bluetooth capable mobile phones with active data connection, PSPgo can use built-in Bluetooth networking.
