Gamers attention here, MSI has recently released its gaming notebook in G series the GT640, with an Intel Calpella platform.
The 15.4 inch GT640 features Intel Core i7 processor. The exterior of the notebook is finished in high quality aluminium with a brushed look and has got red trim on all four of its edges. The GT640 is built to give a magnificient experience in gaming though not the ultimate.
The GT640 comes with Windows 7 and has an nVIDIA Geforce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics card to provide crystal clear and life like images and graphics support for the games. The nVIDIA chipset utilises DDR3 1GB VRAM which means faster performance than the previous versions.
The Notebook has got other features like
- Hyper-threading technology which makes the notebook perform better when running multiple programs, thus giving the quad core an 8 core effect.
- Other notable feature is its Eco Engine which can be accessed through the control panel to control the power utilisation of the pc. Thus giving it efficiency of power to suit specific uses.
- Also the MSI GT640 comes with MSI's latest Cinema Pro Technology which allows the user to instantly change the notebook into cinema playback mode just by the push of a button.
- SRS premium sound certified high quality audio combined with 2 built-in hi-fi speakers and a 7.1 channel surround sound makes it even more thrilling to play games or watch movies.
Overall i feel its a gr8 notebook from MSI
