Bose released the SoundDock 10 Digital Music System in India. Its been mainly designed to work for iPod, iPod touch and iPhone models. It gives the output and performance never experienced and expected from a single piece speaker system for portables like the before stated.
Bose debuts its proprietary waveguide technology for the first itme in this SoundDock that measures about 9 inches high, 17 inches wide and 10 inches deep. The new waveguide matches newly designed Bose woofer and was reduced from 75 inches to 52 inches and is folded in the system's enclosure.
Auxillary input connection allows equipments like mp3 players, iPod Shuffle or CD players to be connected to the system and also lets videos to be played from iPods on a TV while the sound can be listened through the SoundDock.
Two proprietary Bose Twiddler transducers are positioned in the front of the system. A proprietary vibration isolation structure is used to maintain iPod or iPhone performance, regardless of the listening level. For heat management, components are positioned to create a "chimney effect," efficiently cooling the system. Bluetooth dock is offered separately to stream music wirelessly from a stereo Bluetooth music phone.
The SoundDock 10 Digital Music System is available for Rs. 40,388. The optional Bluetooth interchangeable dock will be available mid October for Rs. 8,888.
