Abu Dhabi being caught up with the F1 fever due to the F1 races starting on Nov 1 in the new Yas Marina
Circuit influences the country in many ways. The Abu Dhabi Police Department takes this Oppurtunity to invoke safety awareness in the public by making advertisements and exhibitions.
As a part of expanding awareness on traffic safety and rules, the Abu Dhabi police gets a new car to their fleet and thats the world's fastest car which is the F1. Yes the F1 car dubbed F999 for Abu Dhabi police F1 car may not be used for patrolling or in casual chase but to spread the awareness of safety and rules of traffic to the public. The Car was launched on Oct 28th.
Now according to the search i have done in the internet on the fastest police cars in the world, UAE now has the fastest car in the world ( after-all its an F1 ). The car can go up to 400+ kmph on road and is a prestigious addition to the police force of the country.
Along with this F999 the Abu Dhabi Police Department also has a Falcon Bike which is an american chopper exclusively designed and manufactured for the Abu Dhabi Police.
