Yeah dont just waste time by reading the title again, u heard it right. The new Yamaha V-Max is available in India and is priced at a mind blowing ( price for a bike ) 20 Lakh Indian Rupees. The V-Max from its inherent DNA looks macho and ruff like all times. But the performance isnt the same, Yamaha has spiced up the output and has given the bhp a push from 133 to 200 in this 2009 version.
The V-max Engine has a displacement of 1679cc and is 4 cylinder V4 type delivering 200 bhp @ 9000 rpm and 17 kg torque @ 6500 rpm. What more the Motor cycle is 310 kg and thus proves to be non conventional bike in over-all ( atleast in indian roads). Just think what the heck the bike is faster, powerfull and heavy. All together a perfect bike for a macho style ( favours moi flavour) but when it comes to the cost its really out of hand. And just for your understanding the Rs. 20 lakh price tag is the ex-showroom price of V-Max in Delhi so i guess we would have to add a few more lakhs in the name of tax and insurance etc.. to get the actuall on-road price.
