HP recently unveiled the ProBoook notebook series to offer the Indian consumers with better computing options in terms of performance, affordability and productivity. The ProBook series is designed to meet the needs of diverse sections of people ranging from small and medium business to large enterprise customers. The latest notebooks from HP present a mercury-free design.
The ProBook series packages high-definition LED backlit displays that are offered in 13.3-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch diagonal widescreen sizes, helps conserve battery. The innovative notebook series employs integrated 3D DriveGuard technology that provides worse security to the notebook and guards the hard disk incase of any sudden jerks. The series packages AMD or next generation Intel Core 2 Duo processors as well as a choice of integrated or discrete graphics and VoIP capabilities. The notebook is inclusive of a 2 megapixel camera and microphone. The layout of the keyboard is intelligently designed, with keys raised from the surface. Thus, it reduces dirt and dust collection area, minimizing maintenance concerns.
The HP Probook series features built-in three-axis accelerometer that protects the hard drive from crashing due to any physical harm. With HP Professional Innovations HP QuickLook 2 software that offers access to e-mail, calendar, task and contact information simply by touch of a button. Further, the Spare key feature solves the problem of forgotten passwords and presents a sequence of three encoded personal identification questions to enter into the system. The series encompasses File Sanitizer which deletes individual files, folders and personally identifiable information from the notebook permanently.
The HP ProBook series is available in India at a price range beginning from Rs. 40,000 exclusive of taxes.
