AMD comes out with its most powerfull processor till date. The latest processors are measured in FLOPS ( raw compute horsepower), these processors are implemented in the Next-Generation ATI Radeon HD 5800 series graphics cards.These cards delivers a speed of up to 2.72 TeraFLOPS in a single card
Microsoft will be introducing DirectX 11 for the first time along with Windows 7. ATI Radeon HD5800 series would be the first graphics card to support DirectX 11 completely.
Initially ATI Radeon HD5800 series would release 2 cards:
