The new webcams can be split down into three distinct categories – basic, mid-range, and premium with a feature set to suit each level. Below is a summary of the capabilities of each camera and the categories they fall into.
Basic Webcams
The new basic range (C200, C250, and C300) give you just what you need to start working with video. There’s a VGA sensor, built-in microphone, and the ability to take 1.3 megapixel photos. The C200 offers 640 x 480 video capture, while the C250 ups that to 800 x 600 and adds in some “Fun Filters” video effects to play around with. At time of writing no details of the C300 webcam have been released.
C200- $29.99
C250- $39.99

Mid-Range Webcams
The feature set improves quite a bit in the mid-range (C500, C600). With the C500 you get a glass lens, a true 1.3 megapixel image sensor, and Logitech RightLight technology to ensure you aren’t sitting in the dark or are overbright on camera. The video effects on offer are also greatly expanded over the fun filters of the C250. Video capture is up to 1024 x 768 (30fps) and 5 megapixel images can be captured.
C500 - $49.99
C600 - $79.99

Premium Webcams
At the top end of the scale we have the premium cameras (C905, Pro 9000). Both webcams include Zeiss optics with autofocus, 2 megapixel sensor, 1600 x 1200 capture, 720p widesceen mode, and 8 megapixel images. The only difference between the two seems to be the fact the C905 has been designed to be portable.
C905- $99.99
Pro 9000- $99.99
Pro 9000 C905
Personally i won't spend money on a premium series just get some widescreen that too on a web cam.
